Blue Shampoo

Preparation:

You don't need to wash your hair before using our Blue Shampoo. It contains a sulpfate-free surfactant that effectively cleanses your hair, making it a convenient 2-in-1 product (cleanses + tones). However, if your hair has oils or styling products like gels or hairsprays, it's advisable to use a regular shampoo beforehand.

Frequency:

• You can use Blue Shampoo up to 2 times a week to maintain and refresh your hair color.
• Alternate between your regular shampoo and Blue Shampoo for the best results.

Application:

• Wet Your Hair: Start by thoroughly wetting your hair, as you would with any shampoo.
• Apply Blue Shampoo: Squeeze a generous amount of the shampoo into your palm and work it into your wet hair. Ensure even distribution, paying extra attention to areas with visible orange or red tones.
• Adjust Time Based on Hair Porosity: Consider your hair porosity to determine the ideal waiting time. For low porosity hair (slow moisture absorption), you can leave the product for up to 10 minutes. If you have high porosity hair (quick product absorption), 5 minutes is sufficient.
• Let It Sit: Unlike standard shampoo, evenly apply Blue Shampoo from the ends to the roots. Leave it on for the recommended duration (usually 5 to 10 minutes) to let the color-correcting pigments work their magic.
• Rinse Thoroughly: Once the time is up, rinse the shampoo completely from your hair, ensuring no product residue remains. Use cool water for rinsing to close the hair cuticles, leaving your hair smoother and frizz-free.
• Conditioner Application: After rinsing out the shampoo, apply conditioner, focusing on the mid-lengths to ends. For optimal results, use Conatural Hair Repair Conditioner, a silicone-free conditioner.

Safety Precautions:

• Keep the shampoo away from the eyes. If contact occurs, wash the eyes with water.
• Conatural Blue Shampoo should be used within 2 years from the manufacturing date. It should be used within 1 year of  opening for best results.
• Certain individuals may have allergies to specific products. Perform a patch test on your inner elbow and leave it for thirty minutes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Avoid direct contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store under 30°C and out of direct sunlight.
• For external use only.
• Safe for use during pregnancy.

Potential Health Risks of Traditional Hair Dye Ingredients:

Ammonia: This chemical is utilized in hair dyes to open the hair cuticle and facilitate color penetration. However, prolonged exposure to ammonia can lead to irritation of the eyes, skin, and respiratory system, causing dryness, itchiness, and discomfort.

Hydrogen Peroxide: Used to lighten hair and activate the color-forming process, hydrogen peroxide can damage the hair structure, resulting in dryness, breakage, and loss of elasticity. Additionally, the fumes from hydrogen peroxide may cause respiratory irritation and discomfort.

Resorcinol: Employed to help color bind to the hair shaft, resorcinol is known to be a skin irritant, causing allergic reactions such as redness, itching, or swelling. Prolonged exposure raises concerns about potential impacts on thyroid function.

PPD: Paraphenylenediamine, is a chemical commonly found in hair dyes, particularly in darker shades. Its use has been associated with skin sensitization, allergic reactions, and contact dermatitis, making it potentially harmful to individuals with sensitive skin
